Multi Aid Programs (MAPs) is a Syrian-led non-governmental organization registered in Lebanon since 2013. They operate in marginalized communities across Bekaa and Arsal, providing health, relief, education camp; continuing education to Syrian refugees, vulnerable Lebanese and Palestinians
CHIRAJ partnered with Multi Aid Programs – MAPS has been sponsoring projects focusing on children and youth. One of our first projects was sponsoring a girls soccer team and English classes. This was a small way to provide these children in the refugee camps a semblance of normalcy.
The most recent project was “Learning for Innovation” the Robot Club launched to train 40 students / students and spread creative thinking among them, the club targeted ages between 14 and 18 and will continue for 6 months. Students will learn the basics, basics and principles of mechatronics, the basics of scientific research to find solutions to community problems.
For the 5th year we are happy to complete our Summer school program for
Syrian refugee children at the Lebanon border #summerjams which include
science, robotics and a focus on girls education empowering women. Syria
has lost an entire generation of children owing to the ongoing war
The joy of our children in northern Syria is complete with the new Eid clothes,
so we partned with Ghiras Alnahda USNFP النھضة غراسa non profit to provide
full Eid clothing for children in the camps, in the last week of the holy month of
Ramadan.
Cloths include a shirt, pants, and shoes, taking into consideration the gender
(boys and girls)
