CHENNAI COVID CLINIC

The Delta variant was first detected in India in late 2020. The Delta variant was named on 31 May 2021 and had spread to over 179 countries by 22 November 2021. The World Health Organization (WHO) indicated in June 2021 that the Delta variant was becoming the dominant strain globally. With India being the epicenter, CHIRAJ went to India to mobilize its resources to help the country with one of its worst health crises.

CHIRAJ, with the support of Don Bosco Egmore Chennai India Alumni (Alma Mater of Rajeev and Sriram) and in partnership with Arun Hospital decided to immediately start a COVID Free Clinic in thvulnerablele part of the city. Under the guidance of Dr. Rajeev Fernando (Infectious Disease Doctor USA) and Dr. Raja Siddhartha KS (Intensive Care Unit) the center offered their expert guidance in treating COVID-19.
